History

1930  Ernst Jacqui founds the company in Neustadt on the Winestrasse

           as a sharpening shop  for knives, shears, and butcher´s cutlery.

1962  Expansion of the business to include paper trimming and other machine knives.

1965  Continuation of the business by Heinz Jacqui and relocation to a new,

           larger building in Neustadt.

1994  Ownership of the business transferred to Kümmel Company in Schwegenheim.

1995  Expansion of the business by adding the possibility to sharpen circular knives.

1998  Offered fully automatic machines for sharpening various knives and

           complete machine shop in one facility.
